I’m not usually one to boast, but I am deeply proud of the welcoming, supportive community I’ve built single-handedly since launching Secret Sauna. What started as a small idea has grown into something truly special—a space where people find real healing and joy.

I’ve witnessed incredible transformations: individuals in cancer recovery, those rebuilding after heart attacks, and many others managing quieter, hidden health challenges that often go unspoken. For so many, the sauna has become a cherished part of their weekly routine—a vital element of recovery, self-care, and simple pleasure. Pair that with the breathtaking natural beauty of North Devon, from wild coastlines to serene Exmoor spots, and it feels like the perfect recipe for exceptional wellness.

Based in Woolacombe, Secret Sauna brings the rejuvenating power of a traditional wood-fired sauna to stunning outdoor locations, creating moments of peace, connection, and restoration right in the heart of nature.

For years, this day hit me hard too… but lately I’ve come to see it for what it often is: a commercial reminder dressed up as celebration.

The truth? We don’t need one designated day to show love, gratitude, or care to the people who matter most. Every ordinary day counts more than any holiday card ever could.
