The Annual AATA (Association of Anthroposophic Therapeutic Arts) Conference
This year’s conference was held at my school, Tobias, and it was an incredible weekend filled with nourishment, inspiration, and excitement.
It was so lovely to connect with some of the school’s graduate students and to learn from one another. We spent a whole day in a creative session exploring the language of fairy tales and creating stories of our own. Once again, I witnessed the power of story as medicine . How we can become the authors of our own lives and reclaim our power through creative and artistic expression.
I received a beautiful gift from my partner, inspired by Bela, the character in my fairy tale :
“The magical power to bring joy and healing where there is pain, the power to trust in oneself and transcend doubt and worry.”
The conference itself felt like a retreat and it is feeding my soul, my heart, and even my stomach.
To close the weekend, I attended an event at Emerson College in memory of the birth of Dr. Ita Wegman. I experienced eurythmy for the first time, to embodying colour, the five-pointed star, letters, and movement as prayer. It was truly magical.
