What is a Mama Rising x Mother Nature Circle? 🌿
I am a trained facilitator in both Mama Rising and Mother Nature Circle. By weaving together these two powerful frameworks, I am a space holder to this unique space for mothers to gather and explore the ongoing transformation of motherhood through the lens of matrescence.

✨ Mama Rising brings the language and education of matrescence — the complete transformation and identity shift of a woman as she moves through motherhood, first coined by Dana Raphael in the 1970s and redefine by Dr. Aurélie Athan as similar to adolescence.

🌱 Mother Nature is a community of mothers, women and people supporting mothers — committed to creating a worldwide movement of sisterhood, bringing awareness to the personal transformation journey of mothers.

Together, this circle supports mothers — especially newborn mums — where we can recharge and be nourished by sharing our stories and mirroring ourselves into other women’s stories.

🌸 Monthly Mother Circles When: 2nd Thursday of each month (except July) 7:00 - 8:30pm Where: .rwb The Little Gem Café, Royal Wootton Bassett
Themes:
* 13th March – Kindness
* 10th April – Strength
* 8th May – Value
* 12th June – Grace

🌿✨ The Birth of My First Logo! ✨🌿

The initial draft of this logo was inspired by the Five Elements, which later evolved into its final form. The final design is a hand-carved lino print.

🤲 Hands symbolize support 🌻 Sunflower represents mother 🕊 Bird signifies the flow, and the different stage of the rite of passage

The Chinese character “光” means (Light)  May this light shine upon every mother I have met and those I will meet in the future.

Special thanks to for creating this good energy logo. I love the logo already when I first saw the draft.

WHY DO WE GATHER IN CIRCLES?

Because we always have!

Circles are the oldest way for human beings to gather. There’s a fire in the middle, gathering attention. It’s a horizontal structure, with everyone sitting at the same level, telling stories, hearing stories and weaving the threads of the community.

Circles are “empty” spaces, where people are invited to be, rather than to do something.

They are simple ritual spaces that help us to take a break from the flow of daily life,
allowing us space for deep regeneration.

Thank you for having me as a trainer to share Matrescence with your fellows. One of the mums said this is the first time someone ask her “what is your motherhood story?” and this is exactly what she needs.
This is also the reason why I am doing the work I am doing, to allow mothers to be seen, heard and valued.
