In Loving Memory of Teresa Ann Burton.

Teresa passed away peacefully on 24th February 2026 after a illness bravely borne, aged 60 years.

Teresa was a long standing resident of Royal Wootton Bassett, and a much loved lollipop lady at Longleaze school.

Teresa will be sorely missed by her beloved four children Brian, Trisha, Danny and Daniella, and grandchildren, Alexia, Ethan, Hayden, Tyler, Cj, Elizabeth, Chelsea, Brooke, Ely, Ellis, Bella, Jacob, Madison, Coby, Cohen, Rhyell and Wyatt, a loving brother to Andy, and friend to Leanne, Kirsty, Earl and Sarah, and will be sadly missed by all that knew her.

A funeral service will take place at North Wiltshire Crematorium on Thursday 19th March at 4.00pm.

Family flowers only but donations if desired are welcome for the Prospect Hospice.

Passed away on 13th February 2026 aged 70 years.
Stephen was a "Happy-go-lucky " man in work and play, he was a loving brother and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral service to take place at North Wiltshire Crematorium on Monday 30th March @ 10.00 am.

Stephen was an avid Chelsea Football Club fan so if you have a Chelsea shirt or something blue please feel free to wear it.

In Loving Memory of Dave 'Dilligaf' Wright
Dave passed away peacefully on 1st December 2025, after a long illness bravely borne, aged 53 years.
Dave will be sorely missed by his devoted partner Jacqui, his five children, Holli, Ell, Jordan, Tyler and Corey, grandchildren Robin, Wren and Fox, his father & step mother, David and Philomena and his sister Tracy.
A funeral service will take place at Kingsdown Crematorium, Swindon, on Monday 5th January 2026 at 1.30pm.
No black attire, Rockabilly or Hawaiian shirts preferred.

Sandra passed away peacefully at home on the 10th December 2025 aged 77 years.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and life-long resident of Royal Wootton Bassett, she will be sadly missed by all fortunate enough to have known her.
A funeral service will take place at St Bartholomew’s Church, Royal Wootton Bassett on Tuesday 30th December 2025 at 10.00 am followed by a committal at Royal Wootton Bassett Cemetery, everyone welcome.

Please also see message received from the family:

Mum was always looking out for others, trying to protect them. Even in her last days she was very aware how the current climate is affecting everyone financially.

To that end, and in accordance with her final wishes, mum doesn't want any flowers or donations, also there will be no wake. She also doesn't want people to feel pressured into dressing up, so please come as you are, in whatever you feel comfortable wearing.

Mum's favourite flowers were red roses, so if you wish to wear a single red rose in her honour, please do.

Let's mourn her passing, but more importantly, let's celebrate her life and how she affected us all with her love, compassion and friendship.

This year we are working with our friends at St. Bartholomew's and All Saints Church, Royal Wootton Bassett and Spurgeons Charity who provide local children, in Royal Wootton Bassett, who wouldn't normally receive a Christmas present, with a Christmas gift.

We have 50 stars, each uniquely numbered. Please pop in to purchase your star, £2 per star. Stars are available today and unless their gone they will be available next Friday at the Royal Wootton Bassett Christmas Festival where you are welcome to come in and light a candle in memory of your loved ones and warm up with a hot drink and a mince pie.

One lucky star will win a Christmas hamper.

Spurgeons is a national children's charity with a long-standing history in Wiltshire, working with vulnerable families, children and young people.
