Bassett Breasties is a free, relaxed drop-in support group run by trained peer supporter Sophia, offering a warm, judgement-free space for feeding support, connection, reassurance, and a cuppa too.

✨ No need to book
✨ Older children welcome
✨ Play area & toys available
✨ Baby weighing scales available if you’d like to do a personal weight check

Come as you are — whether you need support, have questions, or just fancy some company with people who “get it”.

💛 WOW… what a weekend we had last Saturday at our fundraiser morning 💛

I just wanted to say the biggest THANK YOU to everyone who came along, donated, shared posts, bought raffle tickets, baked cakes, offered prizes, volunteered their time, or supported our Bassett Breasties fundraiser in any way.

Because of your incredible kindness and support, together we raised an amazing £588!

As a completely free drop-in breastfeeding support group, this money genuinely makes such a difference and helps us continue supporting local families here in Royal Wootton Bassett. The funds raised will go towards things like venue hire, insurance, ongoing training, and resources for families attending the group.

I’m honestly so grateful for this wonderful community 😘

Feeding support in the area for the week ahead.

Free local in-person feeding support, from 4th to 10th May 2026:

Tuesday 5th - Birthworks Independent Midwife, at Church Cottage in Marlborough, from 10am until 11:30am

Tuesday 5th - Cricklade Breastfeeding Friends at United Church Hall, alongside the free Bounce & Rhyme group, from 1:45pm until 3pm

Wednesday 6th - Breastmates, at Community Centre at Christ Church Swindon, from 12pm until 2pm

Wednesday 6th - Devizes, Melksham and Calne Breastfeeding Support, at the Lansdowne Strand, in Calne, from 1pm until 2:30pm

Thursday 7th - IBCLC Elena Rossi's Open House, in West Swindon, from 10am until 1pm (to book your place text Elena on 07733609660)

Friday 8th - ~Devizes, Melksham and Calne Breastfeeding Support, at Optimum Corner, in Devizes, from 1pm until 2:30pm
