If you're a patient at Farrier House Surgery and haven't yet registered with another GP, you and your family members *must* do so before next Friday 1st March ⏰

💻Registering online is quick and easy - just visit your preferred practice's registration page, pop in your details, and they'll do the rest.

📝Or, you can register in person by visiting a GP near you and filling out the forms required.

💬If English isn't your first language, you can also use the Google Translate function at www.farrierhousesurgery.co.uk/languages to find this information in your language of choice.

🤝And if you need help with re-registering, you can visit our practice during our opening hours next week, and we'll be happy to give you a hand.

We want to express our gratitude for all the kind words our patients have already shared with us following the letter sent out regarding our closure on the 1st March 2024.

Our staff have always worked extremely hard to deliver great care to our community, and we’re very proud of the work we’ve achieved as a team here at Farrier House Surgery.

Unfortunately we have been impacted by increasing costs here at Farrier, as well as a struggle to recruit staff into our practice, which has meant we’re no longer able to stay open.

However, we, Worcester City Primary Care Network and the other nine practices in the city have worked closely together over a number of months to make plans ahead of this closure to ensure our patients still receive the same quality care they receive from us.

You can find answers to many questions you may have at the moment at www.farrierhousesurgery.co.uk – and if you’ve received a letter from us, you can expect your follow-up text with a recommended practice for you in the following weeks.

Until then, our services will continue as usual, so please don’t worry – we’re still here to support you 💙

📢Attention Worcester students!📢

The Worcester Safe Space has arrived!

As students, you are an important part of the Worcester community. We want you to feel safe and comfortable while enjoying all that the city has to offer so we are bringing Worcester Safe Space to our streets. The Worcester Safe Space is made up of paramedics, welfare support, and helpful people ready to assist you in finding a taxi, charging a dead phone to call for a friend or with any concerns or issues you may encounter.

Whether you're out with friends, returning from a late-night study session, or heading home after a night out, look out for the Worcester Safe Space that will be stationed at The Cornmarket from 10pm to 1.30am before moving to Angel Place, where it will remain until 4am, and don’t hesitate to approach them if you’re feeling vulnerable, need help or advice.

Please note this service operates on a Friday and Saturday night and will also be available at New Years Eve.
