Awareness is the word! With awareness we can make shifts.

There is an entire month dedicated to stress awareness…most people would rather pretend it doesn’t exist or they tell themselves it’s normal to feel regularly overwhelmed or completely stressed out.

But what if we used this time to flip the script? What if life could feel kinder.

Stress shows up in many forms but it’s about being kind to yourself during those moments—impacting your physical health, mental well-being, and overall quality of life. It’s part of being human, but learning how to manage it in 2026 makes all the difference.

Some of the simplest, most powerful tools? Meditation, breathwork, and massage.

Taking just a few minutes each day to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the present moment can help quiet the noise. Meditation helps you observe your thoughts without getting caught up in them, while breathwork uses intentional breathing patterns to calm your nervous system—slowing your heart rate and signaling your body that it’s safe to relax.

Vagus nerve informed massage works on many levels, releasing built-up tension in the muscles, improving circulation, and helping your body shift out of a stressed, “fight or flight” state into a more relaxed, restorative one.

Together, these practices allow you to let go of past worries and future anxieties, creating space for clarity, calm, and balance.

Mini pauses throughout the day is extremely necessary for your health.

Choose a quiet space if available… but equally, this may be in the bathroom while life continues loudly outside. The environment does not need to be perfect—your nervous system can still find safety within it.

At first, you may soften external noise with headphones if needed but over time, the practice evolves: remaining anchored in your breath, even within sound. This is true inner-self regulation.

Begin with slow, diaphragmatic breathing.
Inhale deeply… allowing the breath to expand through the abdomen. Exhale slowly and fully.

Introduce a soft whisper on the exhale.
This subtle vibration can stimulate the vagus nerve, enhancing calm and reducing physiological stress.
This breathing has scientifically shown to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, signalling safety to the body.

Gently rub the tops of your arms as you breathe. This light, repetitive touch mirrors early soothing patterns, reinforcing a sense of familiarity and security within the body.

With each cycle, you recalibrate…
returning to connection,
to clarity,
to safety.

And as you finish, quietly whisper:
“I’ve got this.”
The nervous system responds to softness—whispers are perceived as non-threatening, allowing the body to settle more deeply.

Lay down and be massaged into a deep relaxed state from head to toe (optional) all while your thoughts are being led by a bespoke guided meditation. Breathing light in and heaviness away, welcoming in and out colours, thoughts, feelings and emotions. Feeling present but surrendering to your individual journey.

To ensure you feel happy and comfortable prior to receiving your massage. Together we discuss and create your own personalised package.

Are you in pain? Discomfort? Stressed out? Struggling to settle yourself after outbursts of stress?

All of my treatments are bespoke, therefore the treatment is created for you to ensure your favourite add ons are included in the price. So you don't pay any extra and you’re not limited to certain muscle groups, i.e you can choose to mix mindful breathing, meditation and any of the following areas :- scalp, face, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, pecks, back, glutes, legs and feet. Remember this is all optional and the treatment can be kept to massage alone.
