Crookbarrow View is launching in summer 2021 at Gotland Road in Worcester. Our brand new Extra Care Living will offer independent living with access to on-site care for people over the age of 55*, with 71 one and two bed apartments available for rent and shared ownership. From Worcester Porcelain and Worcestershire sauce, to the city’s fascinating architecture and history, Worcester is a place for

everybody to enjoy. With its beautiful cathedral and magnificent library, our brand new development can be found just a short journey to the city centre and the River Severn. Gotland Road, off Whittington Road, is surrounded by a selection of supermarkets, along with Whittington Church and Worcestershire Royal Hospital being just a ten minute drive away. Our new development is amongst the peaceful and tranquil surroundings of Worcester, and just a half hour drive from pretty villages such as Evesham and the Malvern Hills. Worcester also has a lively city centre for those who love to socialise, with cafes, restaurants and retail stores accessible, and plenty for sports fans to get excited about too! Our Extra Care Living has been designed to provide fully accessible facilities for both residents and visitors, which include a café/bistro and hair salon for use by the community. We are looking for a catering business to run our on-site cafe/bistro at Crookbarrow View; our Extra Care scheme in Worcester. The bistro will be open to residents and the local community.

This could be a great opportunity to set up and run a small business.

As an incentive, rent and utilities are included for the first 6 months at least and there is also £1000 per month available for the first 12 months to support. This is on the understanding that there is a minimum term of 12 months.

There is a full fitted kitchen and a servery also.

We currently have a new and exciting opportunity to recruit to the role of Assistant Housing Manager. The role of Assistant Housing Manager is to ensure that all residents living on a Housing 21 Extra Care Court receive a high quality and responsive housing management service in a safe and secure environment, including providing support where necessary, and encouraging a sense of independence and choice. The successful candidate will also ensure that landlord duties are discharged in accordance with Housing 21 policies and procedures.
