Let us arrange the detail of your loved one's Funeral We have been in the funeral business for over 40 years and of late we have been watching the style of funerals chosen by families very closely and have identified the need for low cost funerals. We aim is to reduce funeral poverty by supplying a direct to the crematorium service for those that don’t want an elaborate funeral; and as our funeral home is situated at the entrance to Worcester Crematorium this makes ideal sense. There is always scope to add to the basic package; dependent upon your requirements and budget. We know that families are starting to think ahead and we work with pre-paid funeral plan providers to help you put plans in place for when the inevitable happens. We have our own In-house celebrant who will lead a Celebration of Life for your loved one. Many people are choosing to have a Crematorium service now and a Burial of Ashes later when they can have more people attend the service and the 'Wake' afterwards. We can provide a complete funeral from under one roof to save you having to travel around different places. When you are making arrangements for your loved one it pays to call around and talk to Funeral Directors and we hope that you will include us when you do so.

Today was a lesson in never underestimating the power of a hug.
Sometimes when people are hurting deeply a hug or a caring hand on the arm are all that is needed to ease their burden.

With sadness we announce the passing of Gwen Williams, formerly of Poplar Avenue, in Blossom House Care Home.
Gwen loved a splash of colour and would like people to wear colour at her Funeral Service on Wednesday 18th March. The service is at 3.00 p.m. at The Vale Crematorium.
Family flowers only please with donations if so desired for Guide Dogs for the Blind.

To the young gentleman who watched us leave the funeral home today. I saw your sorrow as you walked up the road. I felt your pain and am so sorry that I couldn't get out and check that there was anything we could do to help you in your obvious moment of upset. Thinking of you.

We offer a personal, bespoke service and are there when you need us, to help and guide you through the days and weeks leading up to the service itself. Need us afterwards? We're still here for you with a hand to hold or the hug that you need.

It's National Funeral Planning Awareness Week.
Taking place from the 23rd of February through until the 2nd of March it is the ideal time to start that conversation with your partner and family.
By planning ahead you will be taking the pressure off your Loved Ones while they are grieving your loss. Upon a death there are so many things to think about that it would be a gift for them if they had guidelines for your wishes.
Be like Mr & Mrs A who are coming in this week to collect their Funeral Wishes paperwork to file away safely with their important documents for their sons to open when the time comes - hopefully it will be a long time until they are needed.

What will you do this weekend?
My day started with watching the pheasants wandering around the garden while waiting for the kettle to boil. Connecting with nature and enjoying the simple things.
I won't turn the phone off though!

January has gone and we now have chance to reflect on a new day and a new month with spring waiting around the corner. Lighter nights to come are so uplifting and help us move forward with our thoughts and memories.

Today was a day of families in varying stages of the funeral process. Before (funeral wishes), during (funeral arrangements) and afterwards (collection of loved ones ashes)
Many many thanks for the card, flowers and sweets from the ladies who came to collect mum’s ashes.
Myself and the team appreciate all of the time that you share with us during this extremely emotional time.

Hereford is not a regular Crematorium for us but it was a pleasure to be there today. No rain until we were on our way home! We will travel where our families want us to go so don't be afraid of asking.
