We’re planning a little patio gardening project for our residents at Mill House Care Home and would love your help!

We’re looking for:
🪴 Old black dustbins (no longer needed) to use as potato planters
🌿 Any spare or excess vegetable plants (tomatoes, herbs, courgettes, etc.)
🍃any old buckets or empty compost bags.

Gardening is a wonderful way for our residents to enjoy the outdoors, stay active, and grow something together 🌼

Lovely morning in the garden. The wisteria is looking beautiful, the strawberry plants are thriving, and the bulbs we planted last month are finally showing. We’ve been busy sowing our carrot seeds too — spring is definitely here 🌞

We’re delighted to share that our beautifully designed Luxury Garden Rooms at The Mill House Care Home are now welcoming residents.

Thoughtfully created to offer comfort, privacy and a calm connection to the outdoors, these new spaces mark an exciting new chapter for our home — while staying true to everything that makes The Mill House so special.

As part of Dementia Awareness Week this May, we’re excited to be supporting our very own Milhouse team member Charlie, who is bravely taking part in a charity skydive on Saturday 23rd May to raise money for a truly great cause, Dementia UK Charity.

To help boost Charlie’s fundraising, we’re hosting a Charity Car Wash here at Milhouse!

We’ve been busy today making a delicious white chocolate cheesecake — and it turned out beautifully.

Today we visited the butterfly farm to celebrate a resident’s 90th birthday. We had a lovely time exploring and finished the outing with a relaxed picnic afterwards. 💜🎉🦋
