We have been overwhelmed with everyone’s support today at our summer fete. We had a fantastic turnout. A day to remember of fun and laughter.

🎆Thank you to all of our craft stalls who came.
🌟 Thank you to all the local businesses who donated to our fantastic raffle.

And……. We are excited to share we have set the date for our Christmas Fayre for 10th December more info to follow.

I am excited to announce that we have something new this summer. An intergenerational craft afternoon for school age children to give them the opportunity to interact and create with the lovely residents at The Mill House Care Home.

Our residents walking group leader arranged a trip to our local park last week. Sadly, the weather turned so we took a trip to Webbs garden centre which all our residents throughly enjoyed. 🌸

This week the weather was on our side and we managed that planned trip to our local park. 🌳

Last week, we enjoyed a visit to our local Lunch Club and Webbs. Some of the Gentleman mentioned in our last residents meeting that they would like more male based magazines around the home. So, we got them some new magazines and as you can tell they were very pleased with them. 😁

The Mill House Care Home has been owned by Joanne since 1994, and is managed by her daughter, Georgina Stone. Both Joanne and Georgina really understand the importance of integrity, continuity, security and peace of mind which they maintain by their close day to day involvement.

Joanne, who is an experienced care home proprietor, is involved with the home on a daily basis and has always had a deep commitment to the personal support, training and development of staff to meet the demands of providing a truly dedicated service.

A measure of the quality of the Home is the consistently high ratings by the various inspectorates, as well as the number of staff that remain in post for many years.
