Moon Babies Infant Massage

Hello and welcome to Moon Babies....a little about me and my baby massage journey. I'm Katy and as well as being a qualified infant massage instructor I'm Mum to three gorgeous boys. I have practised baby massage with all three boys and they continue to enjoy positive nurturing touch. The strengthened bond and ability to communicate with them from a very early age through baby massage was amazing

and there were so many other benefits too including easing the discomfort of colic and constipation, helping with teething, settling after bath time, easing the discomfort of a cold and having fun. I have been delivering group and 1:1 in the home baby massage sessions since I trained as a Qualified Infant Massage Instructor with Touch Learn in 2008, when I was pregnant with my second child. This was in my role as a Family Support Worker within the local Children's Centres. Having seen the benefits of massage for babies and children, I am now continuing to teach this wonderful skill to other parents and carers through Moon Babies. It is recommend that babies are massaged after the standard 6-8 week check up. This is because any underlying health issues are usually picked by this stage and massage can be adapted if needed.
