Love was truly in the air last Friday! 💖

We had the absolute pleasure of delivering a wonderful game of Valentine’s Musical Bingo at the Connexions Dementia Cafe, held at the Worcestershire Football Association!

The Connexions Dementia Cafe provides a safe, welcoming space for people living with dementia and their carers to come together, enjoy activities, reduce isolation, and feel part of a supportive community. The atmosphere on Friday was full of laughter, singing, smiles, and shared moments, exactly what these sessions are all about.

Music is incredibly powerful for people living with memory illnesses. Familiar songs can spark memories, encourage conversation, lift mood, and create a sense of connection. It brings people into the moment, promotes wellbeing, and reminds us all of the joy found in shared experiences 🎶💕

We had some wonderful winners and everyone really enjoyed themselves- especially Maddy who loves to be bingo caller!

Thank you for joining us today!

A big thank you to everyone from our local community who joined us for our Community Webinar today. It was lovely to see so many people taking the time to learn more about care, support, and the options available to help people live well and remain independent for as long as possible.

We’re really grateful for the questions, conversations, and openness shared during the session. It’s so important that families, carers, and individuals feel informed and supported before they reach a point of crisis, and today’s webinar was all about doing just that.

Nine years of Karl!

Today we’re celebrating our Field Care Supervisor Karl and his 9-year anniversary with Radfield Worcester, Droitwich & Malvern. Over the years he’s kept things running smoothly, supported the team every step of the way, and brought his trademark sense of humour to even the busiest days.

His experience, commitment and presence make a real difference to both our care professionals and clients. We’re very grateful for everything he does!

We are incredibly proud to announce that Parkinson’s UK is now our official House Charity 💙

At Radfield Home Care Worcester, Droitwich & Malvern, supporting people living with Parkinson’s is something we feel deeply passionate about. Through our work in the community, we see the strength, resilience and determination of those affected, and we want to stand beside them.

By choosing Parkinson’s UK as our House Charity, we are committing to raising awareness, supporting vital research, and helping ensure individuals and families affected by Parkinson’s receive the support they deserve.

To kick things off, we are currently running an Easter hamper raffle to raise money for Parkinson’s UK 🐣🎁 The support so far has been incredible, and we’re so grateful to everyone who has already got involved. Drop a comment in the post below if you would like to get involved! We will be sharing the winner at our Open Morning on march 10th!

We’re excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to share the journey with you 💙

At Radfield Home Care Worcester Droitwich & Malvern, supporting our local community isn’t just something we say, it’s at the heart of everything we do. We’re passionate about standing beside the people and families we serve, championing wellbeing, independence and connection.

We’re so proud to be supporting the brand-new Parkinson’s sports sessions with Worcestershire Cricket Foundation: creating a safe, welcoming space where people living with Parkinson’s can stay active, connected and empowered.

And we are delighted to be providing tea, coffee and refreshments for everyone taking part ☕🍪 Because sometimes the most important moments happen in the conversations after the session, over a warm drink, a laugh, and shared experiences.

These sessions are completely FREE, removing barriers and making it easier for people to come along, give it a go, and be part of something special. 💪

Sessions are held every Monday from 10:30-12:00pm at St Peter's Baptist Church, Eden Cl, Worcester WR5 3TZ
