Meet Emma and Hattie, your facilitators for the upcoming Woodland Women's Reset!
Emma Gorbutt has had a varied career working for organisations supporting and creating community projects working for positive change both social and environmental. Since 2011 she has been living and working at Earthworm Housing Co-op and is mum to a 12 year old boy. In 2018 she joined Looby Macnamara working for Applewood Permaculture Centre and in 2021 she joined the Mother Nature Team. She has co-facilitated the Mothers in Action, Mothers as Natural Leaders, Leading Mother Nature Circles Courses and Mother Nature Retreats and is one of the co-authors of the book Mothers As Natural Leaders.

Hattie Duke is a Nature Based Facilitator, mother of twin boys, with skills in Biographical Counselling. She has over 20 years experience as a Forest School Leader, a Waldorf Teacher and mentor for teenage girls. She runs a monthly Mother Nature Circle in her shared woodland in Herefordshire. She also runs Hearthlight, and is the co-caretaker of the woodland where we will be enjoying our Woodland Women's Reset Retreat!

Join us in the woods for the day! 🌳

Guided by Mother Nature Facilitators Emma and Hattie and the more than human world, we will gather for the day in an ancient woodland and cosy roundhouse with a wood stove, near the river Wye, in rural Herefordshire.

Emma and Hattie as mothers are keenly aware of the need for a nervous system reset before the Easter school holidays. The need for the "The Calm Before the Storm", peace and quiet away from the ever present cries of "Mum!" Time for silence, connection to the seasons and ourselves, being in nature and connecting with others who understand just how you feel.

We will gather in Circle, to connect with the land & ourselves and will be exploring natural wisdom through embodied practice and using the Mother Nature Cards.

Hundreds of women have already trained to be a Mother Nature Circle Facilitator, so jump in now and join the course.

Enrolments close 17th October.

This online course course is designed to enable anyone to lead Mother Nature Circles with the Mother Nature Journey Cards.

A combination of pre recorded videos from the Mother Nature Team, activities to do in a course handout, connection space plus 4 x 2 hr live Calls with Emma Gorbutt.

The next course starts October 2025 and we are running 2 sets of 4 calls in parallel - from 10am-12pm and 6pm-8pm UK time, and you choose which time works best for you. Chose to come to your first live calls which are on either the 7th or 9th October 2025

Emma one of the co-authors of our Mothers As Natural Leaders Book will be hosting the 4 groups of live calls and Sara & Lara are your hosts in the 2 hrs of pre-recorded lessons.

It's been a minute! But summer is nearly at an end and I'm back planning Circles. The next one coming up is Autumn Equinox on September 20th, at the Fold, where we will greet the slower pace of Autumn with our familiar Circle with the Mother Nature cards, before enjoying snacks, drinks and chat with our lovely group.
I've also set up a pricing system based on the Green Bottle principle of affordability, from £0-18 depending on your circumstances. Whichever option you need to choose from is absolutely fine.

I'd also like to reiterate, that all women are welcome, especially those experiencing marginalisation from any circumstances they find themselves in. This is a welcoming warm community of support and you are VERY welcome to be a part of it.

Join us as we move into the hibernatory part of the year, to recognise the natural cycles within ourselves as mothers/
