✨ Today was a proud moment for us at Stonemasons of Worcester as we welcomed our two new apprentices and showed them around Bath College ahead of their new journey starting next week.

For us, this isn’t just about training – it’s about preserving a craft, passing on centuries of knowledge, and building the future of our industry one stone at a time.

In uncertain times, with the economy under pressure, we believe it’s more important than ever to invest in people. By giving the next generation opportunities to learn, grow, and shine, we’re ensuring that traditional skills live on and that our industry continues to thrive.

We’re excited to see where their journey takes them – and proud to play a part in shaping it. Here’s to growth, resilience, and the future of craftsmanship. 🪨🙌

Following on from our last memorial post, honed (non polished) dark grey granite remains the most popular choice with families, for churchyard memorials.

As the Diocese regulations on what is permitted in churchyards is rather strict, one way to personalise any monument is to have carved designs or artwork.

This memorial includes rose carvings in each corner finished off beautifully with a pinline.

Small Heritage Project – Worcester

We’re currently undertaking a small but important project in Worcester: carefully removing damaged moulded stone from a historic building—formerly the Golden Hart pub—to prevent any risk to the public.

Our skilled team is replacing the decayed stone with bespoke, hand-carved replacements, crafted to match the original detail and character of the building. Once a cherished local pub, the building is now a set of beautiful offices—and soon, its stunning façade will be fully restored to its former glory.

We had the honour of attending a beautiful charity ball this weekend — the second annual ball.

It was an evening filled with elegance, laughter, and generosity, all in support of an incredible cause = for no child to be forgotten

Grateful to be part of something so meaningful.

New Woodkirk Mullions Installed ✅
Our skilled team of stonemasons crafted and fitted these beautiful new Woodkirk mullions, ready for the new windows to be installed.

The original mullions were damaged and letting in water — now, these replacements will keep the property dry and warm, just in time for winter. Quality stonework that’s built to last!
