Hereford & Worcester Breast Screening

Hereford & Worcester Breast Screening We invite ladies across the 2 counties aged 50-70 years for a screening mammogram every 3 years.

Screening is offered to save lives from breast cancer as it can find breast cancers at an early stage when they are too small to see or feel.

The Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven team is excited to be launching its inaugural patient support conference - 'Live Well After Breast Cancer' - taking place on Tuesday 28th April, at Worcestershire County Cricket Club.

There are two parts to the conference:

Graham Hick Pavilion: patients will be able to hear from guest speakers on key topics such as the menopause, managing fear & anxiety, the importance of physical activity and nutrition.

Chestnut Marquee: Our 'Wellbeing Zone'. Here we are inviting local support providers, activity leaders and support groups to take a table and meet with patients throughout their working lunch and the afternoon. The zone will be open from 12.30-5pm.
