Hereford & Worcester Breast Screening

Hereford & Worcester Breast Screening We invite ladies across the 2 counties aged 50-70 years for a screening mammogram every 3 years.

Screening is offered to save lives from breast cancer as it can find breast cancers at an early stage when they are too small to see or feel.

Did you know???

2026 is an important year as it's 10 years since the Worcestershire Breast Unit opened its doors and the Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven charity started fundraising to support Worcestershire patients with breast cancer.

Over that period, some 51,000 women and men have been referred through our county breast services doors with different breast health issues, and from there 6,768 of those have been diagnosed with breast cancer.

If you live in Worcestershire and have a breast cancer diagnosis, and would be interested in accessing our support services, please get in touch on 01905 733786. πŸ’•

Don't be a fool this 1st of April and make sure you check your breasts!

Get in the habit of checking your b***s on the first of each month so you can more easily recognise what looks and feels normal for you and can spot if anything changes.

Check your breasts. It could save your life.

Anyone can get breast cancer, and 1 in 7 women in the UK will develop it in their lifetime. But when it's found early, treatment is much more likely to be successful.

So get into the habit of checking yourself regularly. It's as simple as TLC.
