We’re on the lookout for someone amazing to help lead our friendly, dedicated team at our small village Preschool in September 2025 ideally.

About Us:
Tucked behind the church with a large garden area in the beautiful village of Charlton, our Preschool is a nurturing, creative, and community-rooted environment for children aged 2-5. We’re a close-knit team following a child-centred approach to learning valuing kindness and a love for early years learning. We run weekly Forest School sessions approx 18 weeks a year.

What You’ll Do:

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities following children’s interest and each child’s development.

Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children feel happy and secure.

Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Work collaboratively as part of a small, passionate team.

Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).

Experience working with young children in a Community Preschool or similar setting.
Experience in supervising a team preferable.

A caring, proactive, and flexible approach.

Strong communication skills and a positive team spirit.

A genuine passion for early years education and supporting children's development.

Hours and Contract Options:

Full-time or part-time role available (hours negotiable)

What a perfect message - This goes for practitioners too . All children connect to care givers that see them , soothe them and make them feel safe enough to feel secure in those relationships.
