Hello everyone - quick Ken update - he's back home and OK. Has eaten a bit, can walk OK albeit slowly, he left hospital on Wednesday night - and is already bored. I am going to have a hard time.....

Hi all. A very important update for you.

Some may already know that Ken has recently been diagnosed with bowel cancer - he will be having an operation on Friday 12th of September - all being well he will be off for around 4 months. Unfortunately as the cancer takes priority, his knee replacements have to be put on hold. With luck he could return in around 4 months; however, at the present time this not definite. We have no idea if the knees can or will be done straight after, or months after; so he may be back for a while then off again for both knees, or back in between each knee!!! I will update as and when we have more idea. Saturday (yesterday) was his last day at work for the present time.

Eben Wheeler, who some of you may know, will be covering 3days a week at the moment, so the practice will still be running, please book on 01905 22264, or use Facebook messenger as usual! Leave a message if your call isn't answered straightaway, and we will get back to you as soon as possible - obviously I won't be in for a week or so when Ken comes out of hospital as he will need some looking after, even if he's reluctant to be looked after, which I am sure he will be!

Hi all, Eben will be working on Monday's and Tuesday's from the 7th April and Ken will be available on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday untill around 1.00. Eben will cover when Ken has his knees replaced and whilst he is recuperating. As yet STILL no dates for the operations - but we live in hope they will be VERY soon....
