Always good to do your own research, but interesting nonetheless.

A plant often dismissed as a w**d is gaining attention from scientists for its potential medical benefits. Dandelion roots, long overlooked in medicine, have shown promising effects in laboratory studies. Researchers discovered that extracts from the roots were able to trigger the death of certain cancer cells while leaving healthy cells largely unharmed. In controlled experiments, some types of cancer cells were dramatically reduced within just a few days, highlighting the plant’s potential as a therapeutic tool.

Seasonal allergy symptoms often begin long before pollen counts peak.
After winter, the body may still be holding congestion, sluggish lymphatic flow, and an immune system that’s primed to over-respond.

Rather than suppressing symptoms, early herbal support focuses on modulating histamine, gently opening elimination pathways, and calming inflammatory responses.

These three herbs work together beautifully in late winter and early spring:

Nettle helps regulate histamine response and supports overall immune balance.
Elderflower gently opens the sinuses and supports lymphatic drainage, easing pressure and congestion.
Chamomile calms inflammation and soothes irritated mucous membranes while supporting the nervous system.

Together, they help the body respond to seasonal changes with greater resilience and ease.

🍵 Spring Allergy Support Tea
You’ll need:
1 part nettle
1 part elderflower
½ part chamomile

How to make:
Add 1 tablespoon of the blend to a teapot or heatproof jar.
Pour over hot (not boiling) water.
Cover and infuse for 10–15 minutes.
Strain and sip once or twice daily during early seasonal changes.
This tea is gentle enough for daily use and ideal before symptoms fully develop.

🌿 Tincture option

If tea isn’t practical, a combined tincture of nettle, elderflower, and chamomile can offer convenient daily support.
Taken consistently, it supports immune balance, sinus comfort, and inflammatory calm during seasonal transitions.

When we live in survival, stress, or self-protection, the body stays guarded and tense.

Healing struggles to take root in these states.

The frequency of love — and emotions above it like compassion, gratitude, and presence — signals safety to the nervous system and the body as a whole.

It’s here that the body softens, the breath deepens, and inner repair becomes possible.

This isn’t about forcing positivity or bypassing pain.

It’s about gently returning to a state where the body feels safe enough to heal from within.

Winter often brings less movement, heavier meals, and reduced circulation — all of which can leave the mind feeling dull, slow, or unfocused.

As spring approaches, the body naturally begins to wake up, but the brain doesn’t always catch up straight away.
Ginkgo works by gently supporting blood flow to the brain, helping improve oxygen delivery and mental sharpness.

Rather than stimulating the nervous system, ginkgo supports clarity through better circulation and steady nourishment, making it especially useful when brain fog is linked to heaviness, stagnation, or seasonal fatigue.

It’s a supportive ally if you notice:
• Brain fog or mental heaviness
• Forgetfulness or poor concentration
• Difficulty focusing or starting tasks
• Feeling mentally “slow” despite resting

Ginkgo helps the mind feel clearer, lighter, and more alert — without pushing beyond its natural rhythm.

🍵 Simple Ginkgo Tea

A gentle tea for focus and circulation
You’ll need:
1 teaspoon dried ginkgo leaf
1 mug hot water

How to make:
Pour hot (not boiling) water over the leaf.
Cover and infuse for 10 minutes.
Strain and sip once daily, preferably earlier in the day.

🌿 Tincture option

If tea isn’t practical, ginkgo tincture is a convenient alternative.
Taken consistently, it supports focus, memory, and cognitive clarity — particularly during seasonal transitions.

Recurring headaches and migraines are often linked to a nervous system that remains under strain.

Tension, stress, postural patterns, and ongoing alertness can all contribute — even when pain relief offers only temporary help.

When the body doesn’t fully reset, these patterns can keep repeating.

Spinal Flow works gently with the nervous system, supporting regulation through key spinal access points.

As the system begins to settle, tension can soften and the body may move out of protective patterns that contribute to head pain.

Rather than targeting symptoms alone, Spinal Flow supports the underlying nervous system patterns that influence recurring headaches.

✨ If headaches or migraines are affecting your quality of life, your nervous system may benefit from gentle support.

Winter can leave the skin dry, irritated, and slow to heal — especially after months of cold weather, heavier foods, and reduced circulation.

As the seasons change, the body naturally begins to clear built-up heat and stagnation, and the skin often reflects this process.
Calendula works gently to soothe inflammation, support lymphatic movement, and encourage healthy tissue repair.

Rather than suppressing symptoms, calendula helps the body rebalance — making it especially useful for flare-ups linked to dryness, sluggish digestion, or immune sensitivity.

It’s a wonderful ally if you notice:
• Dry, itchy, or reactive skin
• Eczema or psoriasis flare-ups
• Slow healing or inflamed patches
• Skin that feels dull or congested after winter

Calendula reminds the skin how to calm, restore, and renew — in its own time.

🍵 Simple Calendula Tea
A soothing daily tea for skin support
You’ll need:
1–2 teaspoons dried calendula flowers
1 mug hot water

How to make:
Pour hot (not boiling) water over the flowers.
Cover and infuse for 10 minutes.
Strain and sip once or twice daily.

This tea is gentle, cooling, and especially supportive during seasonal transitions.

🌿 Tincture option

If tea isn’t practical, calendula tincture offers convenient daily support.
Taken consistently, it supports skin health, lymphatic flow, and immune balance — particularly when flare-ups are recurrent.

Vital Flow Activation works with the body’s energetic field to support gentle movement and circulation in areas where energy has settled or slowed.

The pelvis and hips are common places for stored tension, especially after long periods of stillness or pressure.

As energy begins to move, the body may feel lighter, more open, and more supported from within.

Rather than forcing release, Vital Flow encourages a natural softening that can help restore ease, stability, and flow.

With very mixed emotions, we’re sharing that our physical shop will be closing at the end of February.

This space has held so many beautiful conversations, connections, and moments of healing, and it hasn’t been an easy decision. We’re incredibly grateful to every single person who has walked through our doors and supported us along the way 🤍

While it’s sad to say goodbye to the shop, we’re also feeling excited about what’s next. We’ll be taking Peridot Flow out into the community, trading at local markets and events — albeit with a more limited selection — and we can’t wait to be out and about meeting you all again.

We’ll be sharing where and when you can find us right here on our page, so keep an eye out. And for now, we’re offering 50% off selected lines in-store as we prepare for this next chapter.

Thank you for being part of our journey — this isn’t an ending, just a gentle shift 🌿✨

As winter draws to a close, many people expect energy and motivation to suddenly return — yet the body often needs time to rebuild after months of slower rhythms, heavier foods, and reduced sunlight.

Low energy at this time of year isn’t always burnout or illness.
It’s often a mix of nutrient depletion, nervous system fatigue, and sluggish circulation.

These three herbs work beautifully together in early spring:

Nettle gently nourishes the body with minerals, supporting energy at a foundational level.

Oat seed restores and steadies the nervous system, helping energy feel more sustainable rather than forced.

Rosemary brings gentle stimulation, improving circulation and mental clarity without overstimulation.

Together, they support energy that feels clear, steady, and grounded — not rushed or wired.

🍵 Spring Energy Tea Blend
You’ll need:
1 part nettle
1 part oat seed
½ part rosemary

How to make:
Add 1 tablespoon of the blend to a teapot or heatproof jar.
Pour over hot (not boiling) water.
Cover and infuse for 10–15 minutes.
Strain and sip mid-morning or early afternoon.
This tea supports gentle, sustained energy without relying on caffeine.

🌿 Tincture option

If tea isn’t practical, a combined tincture of nettle, oat seed, and rosemary can offer convenient daily support.
Taken consistently, it supports nourishment, nervous system resilience, and circulation — without pushing the body beyond its natural pace.

WHY BURNOUT CAN LINGER

Chronic stress doesn’t always disappear once life slows down.
When the nervous system has been in “push” mode for too long, it can struggle to fully recover.

This may show up as emotional flatness, irritability, brain fog, or ongoing fatigue — even when you’re resting.

HOW SPINAL FLOW SUPPORTS RECOVERY

Spinal Flow works gently with the nervous system, helping it recognise safety again after long periods of stress.
By supporting regulation through the spine, the body can gradually release survival patterns and reconnect with balance.

Rather than forcing motivation or energy, Spinal Flow supports the conditions that allow resilience to rebuild naturally.

✨ If stress has been lingering longer than expected, your nervous system may need deeper support.

Explore Spinal Flow sessions or get in touch to learn more.

As winter slows movement and circulation, the lymphatic system can become congested — leading to fluid retention, puffiness, achy limbs, and a general sense of stagnation.

Cleavers works gently to encourage lymphatic flow, helping the body clear waste and excess fluid in a calm, supportive way.

Rather than forcing detox, it reminds the lymph how to move again — making it a beautiful ally for late winter and early spring.

🍵 Simple Cleavers Tea
You’ll need:
• 1–2 teaspoons dried cleavers (or a small handful fresh)
• 1 mug hot water

How to make:
Pour hot (not boiling) water over the herb.
Cover and infuse for 10–15 minutes.
Strain and sip once or twice daily.

🌿 Tincture option
Cleavers tincture is ideal if tea isn’t practical, or when consistent daily support is needed during seasonal transitions.

✨ Explore cleavers further in our website Materia Medica to learn how we work with this herb in practice.
