Here’s your gentle reminder:

💬 Arguing? Here’s How to De-Escalate Conflict in Your Relationship

Every couple argues—it’s completely normal. But when tempers flare, the way you respond can either build a bridge or burn one.

At The Relationship Therapy Centre, we guide couples to manage conflict with care. Try these de-escalation tools next time a row starts to rise:

🧘‍♀️ Pause & Breathe – A short pause can prevent a long argument.
🗣️ Lower Your Voice – Calm tones calm the room.
👂 Listen to Understand – Not to win, but to really hear each other.
💛 Use “I” Statements – Say “I feel…” instead of “You always…”
🚪 Take Space if Needed – It’s okay to pause a hard conversation, as long as you come back to repair.
