At Soul Sanctuary we teach a range of classes and all teachers are trained in Baptiste style yoga, specialising in Vinyasa Flow. A common confusion 👉 There is just as much yoga in Child’s Pose as in a Headstand.

In a culture addicted to productivity and achievement, yoga reminds us:
✨ Your worth is not tied to achievement.
✨ You are enough — always have been, always will be.

Sometimes the deepest progress comes from the deepest rest. 💤
Notice your thoughts in class:
▫️ Wanting to rush when it feels “too slow”
▫️ Fidgeting when stillness gets uncomfortable
▫️ Struggling to simply be with yourself

This is the practice. Yoga teaches self-acceptance, if we can allow it. 🙏

Seriously though —
You wouldn’t be expected to already know how to play piano before going to your first piano lesson…

So where did we get the idea that you have to be flexible to go to yoga?

Yoga isn’t about performance. It’s about presence.
It’s about listening to your body, not forcing it.
And we promise — no one is judging you (except maybe yourself, and we're working on that too 😉).

✨ Come as you are.
✨ Move how you can.
✨ Let it be enough.
