Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending a fantastic event, organised by , that brought together art, culture and well-being.🤝

The event featured the incredible work of a Zimbabwean sculptor Brian Nyanhongo. His beautiful Shona sculptures present his artistry and deep messages of his cultural heritage and deep human emotions.🗿

I had the opportunity to share a little about the natural therapies available at Belle Vue Terrace in Malvern. It was a joy to talk about Homeopathy, Bowen Therapy and how we support people on their wellness journeys. 🌿

🌿Passion flower, botanical name Passiflora incarnata L., is native to South America.

📜The history of passion flower, Flos passionis, is fascinating.
According to legend, in 1610 a monastic scholar, Jacomo Bosio, was shown pictures of the passion flower by a visitor who wanted to include them in his writings on the Cross of Calvary.

✝️His depiction of the passion flower symbolized various elements of Christ’s crucifixion: the crown of thorns was represented by the flower’s filaments, the stigma by the three nails, the ten petals represented the apostles at the crucifixion, the tendrils symbolized Jesus’s bindings, and the leaves reflected the hands of those who persecuted him.

🌸This fascinatingly beautiful plant has a long history of use in herbal medicine.
Its primary action is on nervous system, offering a range of benefits. It helps to reduce anxiety, enhances sleep quality
and promotes overall relaxation.

🌿In homeopathy, passion flower also plays an important role. It can be helpful in cases of insomnia, mental exhaustion and overwork.
