MICRONEEDLING:
Microneedling is a skin regeneration treatment which is also known as Collagen Induction Therapy. It's a technique, which triggers the healing mechanisms of the skin to naturally induce new skin tissue production as a means of addressing the skin's ageing process. The development of new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid is stimulated in the dermis to create a firmer more youthful skin tone while the cells of the epidermis are equally regenerated giving the complexion a finer and smoother texture.
Microneedling is used to treat:
Age lines and wrinkles.
Irregular pigmentation/Sun damage.
Thin, reactive skins by fortifying the layers .
Reduce acne and acne scarring.
Tired, lack lustre skin by revitalising the tissues.
Uneven and coarse skin texture.
While typically used on the face, a needling can also be carried out on the neck and chest.
I’m using the original medical Dermalroller XcellarisPro MC with a needle depth of 0.5mm. These superior quality rollers are manufactured under strict criteria and specifications in Germany according to the European Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC. They are sterile and single-use devices. An anaesthetic cream is applied to maximise comfort of the treatment.
The price for one treatment as a case study is £65 which includes a bottle of Clinisept which is important to use in order to keep the skin clean and assist in healing.
CHEMICAL PEELING:
A chemical peel is a safe and effective skin-resurfacing and regenerative procedure whereby a peel solution is applied to the skin that brings about a very thorough and efficient exfoliation. Dull, dry and ineffective skin cells will be removed and fresh new cells grow back, giving the skin a smoother, younger and brighter appearance while the stimulation of new collagen help to boost the skin's volume.
Chemical peels are used to treat:
Age lines and wrinkles
Pigmentation irregularities (discolouration)
Uneven skin texture
Oily or acne skins
Open Pores and coarse texture
Scar tissue.
While typically used on the face, a peel can also be carried out on the neck, chest, hands, feet, arms or back.
I use a selection of Glycolic, Lactic or Salicylic acid in varying strengths depending on the skin and desired results.
The price for one treatment as a case study is £55 which includes a take home product from Dermaviduals. This is an important part of the post treatment aftercare to ensure effective healing and your desired results.
I carry out in depth consultations and skin assessments prior to any treatment and a patch test is required for both Skin Peeling and Microneedling.
