We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team
Leader to oversee the daily operations of our residential service and to have an active influence on the delivery of support provision.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of supporting individuals with Autism and a Learning Disability.
Working on shift to ensure that the day to day delivery of support is delivered the way it should be under your guidance. Particularly in relation to leading a small team of support workers. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our residents receive the highest. quality care while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment at all times.
Duties:
Supervise and lead a team of support workers,
ensuring they deliver exceptional service to our residents.
Develop, implement, and review individual support plans tailored to the needs of each resident.
Coordinate daily activities and schedules for residents, promoting engagement and social interaction.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the home.
Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress, facilitating effective communication with families and healthcare professionals.
Provide training and support to staff on best practices through mentoring and 1:1 supervision.
Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere that encourages our residents to feel at home at all times.
Encourage innovative activities and look to plan ahead to keep schedules busy.
Working on shift as part of the team to have clear oversight and involvement.
Experience:
Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within residential care, home care, or supported living environments is essential for this role.
Familiarity with Autism, Learning Disability care practices and the ability to implement appropriate strategies for support.
Strong organisational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail in care planning and documentation.
Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with residents, families, and staff members.
A background in autism and learning disability care and support or relevant qualifications in health and social care would be advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: ยฃ14.00 per hour plus sleep over rate of ยฃ65.68 ๐ธ
