Calling for all ex miners and their families. We are doing a project to celebrate what was an amazing industry in the area and the miners who never really got the recognition and rewards they should have had.

The first signs of Spring are coming up all over the Oasis Gardens with snowdrops and crocus flowers appearing. We will have a beautiful Garden very soon and we invite you or your group to come and visit us over the March-May 2026 season.

We can put on private viewings and cream teas or refreshments of your choice and a tour of the gardens in all their Spring Glory.

Thanks to everyone who came down to our OASIS CHRISTMAS ADVENTURE over the last two nights. It was a lovely event and great to see so many local families visiting us. Thanks to all the volunteers who came to support the events.

Countdown to our special events on Friday and Saturday this week. Come and meet the Characters of the Christmas season. Lots happening, games and crafts for kids, prizes, food, hot and cold, sweet cart, jams and chutneys, cakes and pastries. A special hunt for the treasures around the lit up gardens and a special gift from Father and mother Christmas in their Winter Oasis cabin. Come and have some fin and ,are some magic moment. Bring a phone or camera and take some wonderful pictures! Making memories at Oasis Community Centre and Gardens !

It’s almost here. Oasis in Worksop is putting on a 2 evening Special where the gardens and centre will be open, the gardens lit up and a Christmas Treasure trail will be there for all children and families to enjoy. They visit the elves and see Santa for a gift box. Lots of other things will be available, hot and cold food; craft stalls; festive arts and crafts for kids; games and fun; a prize every time children’s tombola; giant nativity; sweet cart; all sorts of fun things for all ages to do.
