😞So sad to see Doreen this way. I have never used any of her decks for readings as a respect for her wishes. I can’t believe how she has gone totally in the opposite direction. I respect the freedom of everyone’s choices as I walk with God & Goddess. I think it is wrong to not accept everyone’s individual ways💕

Is Halloween a Matter of Christian Liberty?
Some Christians wrestle with the question of whether participating in Halloween falls under personal liberty, or whether it’s something we’re called to avoid altogether.
Certain matters are left to follow our conscience, such as food, drink, or observing certain days (Romans 14:5-6). Yet not everything that’s permissible is spiritually beneficial (1 Corinthians 10:23). When something has deep roots in paganism or glorifies darkness, it ceases to be a gray area.
Ephesians 5:11 says, “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” This isn’t a suggestion based on personal preference; it’s an imperative for all believers.
Halloween isn’t spiritually neutral. It’s a cultural celebration that glorifies fear, death, witchcraft, and demonic imagery. Even if someone’s personal participation seems “innocent,” the entire day’s theme stands in direct opposition to the holiness and light of Christ.
Christian liberty doesn’t give us the freedom to compromise with darkness; it means freedom from sin’s power to conform us to the world. “As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct” (1 Peter 1:14-15).
Some Christians say they participate in Halloween “to reach the lost,” yet evangelism never requires us to blend in with the world. We can share the Gospel boldly without borrowing the world’s celebrations. We can pass out Gospel Tracts without participating in the darkness of Halloween.
If you’re in Christ, you don’t need a costume or candy to connect with your neighbors. What they need is your witness, your courage, and your love for the truth. So instead of debating liberty, ask: Does this glorify God or does it partner with the darkness He calls us to expose?
The photo in this post of the little girl dressed as a witch with a cauldron is heartbreaking, because this is happening all around the world right now. Witchcraft is currently considered “trendy,“ and little girls are being indoctrinated into the occult by their parents. I consider this spiritual child abuse. They have no idea of the extreme hellbound darkness of the occult. I was saved by God‘s mercy and grace out of this darkness, so I warn others who have ears to hear.
