Thank you to everyone who has reached out with enquiries regarding the funeral arrangements for the late Mr Clive Hopkinson.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks for all the lovely messages, cards, flowers and gifts received at this difficult time. Your kindness and support have been truly overwhelming and deeply appreciated.
We are currently in the process of arranging the funeral details, and a date will be confirmed shortly. Once everything has been finalised, the information will be shared here for all those who have enquired.
Once again, thank you for the outpouring of love and support. The family have been overwhelmed by how many hearts Clive touched and the impact he had on so many lives.

🕊️ In Loving Memory of Clive Hopkinson 🕊️

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Clive Hopkinson, the founder and original owner of Clive Hopkinson Funeral Directors. Clive was a much‑loved and well‑known figure within the local community, recognised for his kindness, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the families he served.

Throughout his life and career, Clive cared for countless families with compassion and integrity. His quiet strength, reassuring presence, and genuine warmth made a lasting impression on all who knew him. He was truly a beacon of light during people’s most difficult moments.

Clive’s legacy continues through his family and the work he began. His son Mark, who remains a valued and respected Funeral Director within our team, continues to uphold the values and standards his father stood for. Our thoughts are also with the memory of Gloria, Clive’s beloved wife, who sadly passed a few years ago and is now reunited with him.

We feel privileged to have been entrusted to continue Clive’s life’s work and to carry forward the care, dignity, and community spirit that defined his business.

Our heartfelt condolences go to Mark, the wider Hopkinson family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by Clive.
He will be remembered with great respect and gratitude. 💛
