🌟 🌟

This we want to give a huge shoutout to Councillor Jean Hall, former Chair of Newark & Sherwood District Council, for completing her inspiring Chair’s Challenge!👏

Over two weeks in March and May, she walked and cycled across the district—celebrating local people and places, promoting sustainable travel, and connecting with amazing community groups.🚴‍♀️🌿

During her journey she raised an incredible £775 for Nottinghamshire Mind - this will help us provide vital mental health support, including counselling, crisis services, and community wellbeing activities across Nottinghamshire.💙

There are days when emotions weigh a little heavier and our hearts feel tender — and that’s okay.💙

Having a heavy heart doesn’t mean you’re weak — it simply means you’re human.

Reaching out for support is a brave and important step. You don’t have to carry everything on your own. When we open up, even just a little, we make space to breathe, reflect, and begin to feel lighter.

You are never alone🫶
