That lingering ache isn’t something gone wrong — it’s likely DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness).
💥 DOMS usually kicks in 24–72 hours after a tough workout, match, or a return from a break.
It’s your muscles reacting to micro-tears from unfamiliar or intense activity — and yes, it’s
completely normal.

But when should you be concerned?
🔹 If the pain is sharp, one-sided, or affects movement — it might not be DOMS.
