We are opening our doors to the local community with a friendly, informative health event on Thursday 29th January between 2.00pm and 4.00pm

Come along and enjoy:

🍓 A complimentary smoothie or healthy milkshake
💦Learn about the importance of hydration in older age, where we'll be sharing alternative ways to promote fluid uptake, what foods have a high fluid content, and other tips and tricks to stay hydrated

As we get older, health needs can change, sometimes gradually, sometimes unexpectedly. Across many of our homes, our nursing teams provide round-the-clock support that helps residents stay as well, comfortable and independent as possible.

From monitoring long-term conditions to responding quickly when something doesn’t feel quite right, our nurses are there with reassurance, expertise and kindness; every day and every night.

Our residents enjoyed a fun Scrabble tournament yesterday — a perfect blend of fun, competition, and mental stimulation. From clever word plays to impressive triple word scores, the room was filled with laughter and plenty of “aha!” moments.

At our care home, we believe every day should be engaging, social, and full of opportunities to connect. Activities like Scrabble not only keep minds active but also strengthen friendships and create lasting memories.

What a fantastic rhythm-filled session with Dom! 🥁✨

Our residents had an amazing time during our drumming exercise class—lots of laughter, big smiles, and plenty of energy all around. From tapping to the beat to moving together in time, it was wonderful to see everyone having fun while keeping active. Music really does bring joy! 💙
