Latest figures from the Department of Health and Social Care - DHSC show 499,797 people in England were receiving CQC-regulated domiciliary care in a single week in November 2025, based on data from the majority of home care providers.

Behind that number are real families:
→Older parents determined to stay in the place they know.
→Sons and daughters trying to balance work, children and caring.
→People of all ages who need support to live safely and independently at home rather than in a hospital or residential care.

“For me, it is days like this,” says Barney, Franchise Owner of Caremark Warwick.

“In December, we brought our care assistants together for our Annual Care Assistant of the Year Awards and invited the Mayor of Royal Leamington Spa to join us.

Hearing him praise our team for the difference they make in the community, and for the peace of mind they give to families, felt like the whole town was saying thank you to them. We celebrated every Care Assistant of the Month from 2025 and crowned Beverley our Care Assistant of the Year.

As a franchise owner, there is nothing better than seeing your team recognised for the way they care and knowing you played a part in bringing that group of people together.”

2025 was our 20th year, and we marked it well. It felt only fitting to sign off with another photo of our Franchisor of the Year win. It truly means so much to our whole network and is a genuine honour in UK franchising, a testament to our values, model and people.
