My name is Alletta and I’m Koinonia catering manager.

I’m passionate about serving others through food, creating meals that bring comfort, warmth, and a sense of home. I love leading with care and putting heart into everything I serve.

I love working at Koinonia because it’s more than just a workplace it’s a community.

Caring for our family members through food and daily interactions is incredibly fulfilling, and it gives me purpose knowing I contribute to their comfort, joy, and wellbeing. 💙

Some of you may know that there was a small fire at Koinonia last night (Saturday 28th March 2026). Those impacted were made safe and the fire brigade were called. John (our Manager) was on site very quickly and the whole staff team worked well with the fire brigade to keep all those at the home safe. We will continue with our checks and if there is anything else we need to share, we will do so in due course.

In the meantime, please do keep our wonderful family members and staff at Koinonia in your prayers, especially for lots of peace and calm in the home today.

We had a joyful afternoon singing favourite hymns and hearing Bible verses read by our family members. Our Songs of Praise is always a popular event and we were delighted so many friends and supporters came to join us.
