A cancellation & Rescheduling Policy Reminder🌿
As a small, independent business, every appointment matters — not just for my diary, but for the preparation, time and care that goes into each client session.
Recently, I’ve had a number of last-minute cancellations, or simply dont show up. I wanted to remind everyone of my 24-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy:
✨ When appointments are cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, it’s often too late to offer the space to someone else.
✨ That time — and the income attached to it — is lost.
✨ Small businesses don’t have the buffer that larger companies do — every booking helps keep the doors open and services running.
For this reason, the cost of the appointment fee will be charged when less than 24 hours’ notice is given.
This also applies when rescheduling an appointment within the 24-hour window.
I fully understand life happens — illness, emergencies, family situations — and I always do my best to be flexible where I can. All I ask in return is that, whenever possible, please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move your appointment.
With Christmas approaching, this time of year is especially important for small local businesses. Last-minute changes can have a real impact — not only on my diary, but on planning stock, supplies and festive costs.
