We’d like to give a special shout-out to our local partner Vision Express in Goring-By- Sea for their dedication to eye and hearing health in our community.

Our CareAngels also play an important role, supporting clients with sight and hearing difficulties in their day-to-day lives, helping them stay safe, independent, and connected.

Kayleigh – Started as a recruitment apprentice and now leads the team, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of clients and carers.

Tracey – Care Supervisor since 2016, dedicated to high standards of care and the heart of the Worthing team.

Tamara – Care Coordinator since 2019, problem-solver, and client-smile-maker.

Debbie – Former CareAngel turned Care Supervisor, supporting new and existing clients with calm, knowledgeable care.

Together, they make a dream team and every client and carer feel valued and supported!

This World Smile Day, our CEO Christina and Head of Operations Tracy spread joy across the Guardian Angel Carers Care Delivery and Office teams with beautiful flowers and handwritten personal notes.

A simple gesture with a big impact, making sure our wonderful colleagues smiled all day long.

Thank you for reminding us that kindness really does go a long way, and a smile really does brighten everyone’s day!

This week is International Week of the Deaf, a time to recognise Deaf culture, raise awareness, and promote inclusivity for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

At Guardian Angel Carers Worthing, we believe that communication is key. Whether through British Sign Language (BSL), written support, or simply taking the time to listen, we are committed to making our deaf and hard-of-hearing clients and colleagues feel valued, respected, and understood.

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting the Virtual Dementia Tour at our South Coast Head Office in Chichester.

This powerful experience gave our Care Delivery team, Team Leaders, and external guests the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of what living with dementia can feel like, and how we can better support those with care needs.

A big thank you to everyone who took part, together we are building more compassion, awareness, and support for people living with dementia. Age UK West Sussex County Council

An Opportunity to Experience the Virtual Dementia Tour

Friday 12th September – Guardian Angel Carers South Coast Head Office, Apuldram, Chichester

We’re offering a unique opportunity for someone in the Worthing area who cares for a loved one living with dementia to take part in the Virtual Dementia Tour - the only scientifically proven method that helps people better understand what living with dementia may feel like.

This immersive experience offers a powerful insight into the daily challenges faced by those living with dementia and highlights how simple changes in their care and environment can make a meaningful difference to their quality of life.

How to Apply:

2. Tell us why this opportunity would benefit you and your relationship with the person who is living with Dementia

Applications close Sunday 7th September @ 5pm, and the selected participant will be contacted on Monday 8th September. The Virtual Dementia Tour lasts approximately 3 hours, with two available sessions: 10:00–13:00 or 13:30–16:30.
