2023 was a whirlwind of a year!

A lot of time spent traveling for both work and leisure in Copenhagen, Kenya, Milan, New York, Morocco, Rouen and Paris! Plus additional trips home to Ireland and little breaks in the UK ⭐🤪

✨ I'm feeling accomplished on quite a number of levels with the main goal this year dedicated to health, I feel like I have definitely met this physically with many challenges under my belt.

I'm so grateful to have my health, for the memories and for those who have shared adventures with me 🙏

Happy new year to all of you, wishing you peace and happiness in 2024 💞

Thank you to those who supported Yoga with Clare this year 🙏
It's been a bit of a mixed bag with the weather getting in the way of almost all pop up yoga on the beach sessions and the decision not to book a regular indoor space after January.

But we did get out on some lovely guided walk with yoga sessions throughout the spring and summer, which I thoroughly enjoyed🧘‍♀️🌳 practicing yoga in nature is so peaceful and really connects us to the earth, bringing us back to simplicity and creating a sense of calm.

If you celebrate Christmas, I wish you a lovely time with friends and family ✨ and if you don't celebrate, I hope you find time during this quiet period for rest and peace 🙏

Saharan Ultra Challenge complete 🥳

96km in the searing heat across two days.

The temperature reached a high of 42 yesterday 🥵 Today was cooler but very tough under foot and the last stretch on the sand dunes was a real killer.

Placed 37th out of 96 on both days.

The action challenge team and local team as well as the medics have been so amazing and I've met some lovely people along the way, always a great distraction and inspiration for that extra push.

Amazing experience, but one definitely not to be repeated 🙈

This event was self funded but this was my final one of the year all in aid of the wonderful The Retreat Animal Rescue Farm Sanctuary and Cafe

If you can spare anything to help me reach my target it is greatly appreciated, the sanctuary depends on donations to care for their many animals medical care, facilities, food etc 🐄🐖🐑💚

It turns out that 57km as a cow and with the heat/hills is not the best plan I've ever had 😂🥵

Peter Sharpe very sensibly told me to take it off on the seven sisters, so got to around 17km or so 🐮
Tough day yesterday, despite having done the 100km before, the heat and lack of breeze was really tough but we finished it in approximately 10.5/11 hours moo-ving time 🐮

Thanks to everyone who has donated to the The Retreat Animal Rescue Farm Sanctuary and Cafe so far this year, my next Ultra Challenge is the Sahara in October. all events are self funded so donations will go straight to the charity 💚💚💚
