Yesterday at Merriman Grange we celebrated Saint David’s Day with a wonderful flower arranging activity 🌼

Our residents carefully prepared beautiful daffodil displays for the church service, gathering fresh foliage and greenery from our garden to make each arrangement extra special🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

We were delighted to welcome residents from Lakeview Grange Care Home to Merriman Grange for a special visit to our home for coffee & entertainment! 🎶

Guests enjoyed coffee and conversation, followed by a wonderful live performance from Lauren Hays, who sang and played the piano, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere. Our Merriman Ambassadors, Kathleen and Sheila, then led a guided tour of the home, giving everyone the opportunity to explore and learn more about life at Merriman Grange.

It was a truly positive occasion, strengthening relationships and bringing our Cinnamon communities together✨

We gave our Admin Assistant, Aleysha, a lovely send‑off on her final day at Merriman Grange. She has been an exceptional ambassador for our home — warm, friendly, and always supportive. No matter what the task, Aleysha was always willing to help. She will be greatly missed, and we wish her every success as she moves into the next chapter of her blossoming career.

What a fabulous evening we enjoyed with Beth and William from the Bolney Wine Estate.

Residents, relatives, friends, and neighbours joined us for a memorable wine‑tasting experience, sampling six exceptional wines paired with Bolney’s expert food recommendations from Bookham Harrison Farms Ltd, the Golden Cross Cheese Co, and Cocoa Loco.

We’re also thrilled to share that the evening’s raffle raised £150 in support of the The Community Dementia Hive — a wonderful outcome made possible by everyone’s generosity. A huge thank you to the Bolney Estate for their time, knowledge, and kindness. Our gratitude also goes to Connect Media UK and H G King Funeral Services for kindly donating raffle prizes.

It was an evening to remember!
