Undertaking a funeral for families that ask us to care for their loved one is so much more than being there on the day. When we receive thanks like the testimonial below there are so many aspects of our ‘service’ that culminate in positive experiences for the family.
So what made us receive the words below?
- from the first contact Ali was clear and concise, guiding the family through the arrangements, making sure a date and time was available at the cemetery that worked for the family. Organising bringing their loved one into our care, having all the correct paperwork filled out and sent to allow the service to take place.
- When it came to the media, Tracey started with a blank canvas creating a unique order of service that captured the essence of a life well lived, filling it with photo memories and the essential information.
- Although we were at the cemetery we were able to organise a photo slideshow so visual memories were shared as well as spoken words.
- On the day of the funeral there were personal effects the family wanted to send with their mum, but they were with them in the New Forest and couldn’t get to us until an hour before the service. This simply wasn’t an issue, and the coffin was not sealed until those items were in with their mum.
- The lady who had passed away had known the Hart family for 3 generations, therefore when Sam conducted the funeral on the day it was another personal touch we were able to offer.
- We have an incredible group of celebrants we use, and always look to match the right celebrant to the family, and as stated the family felt Andy was the perfect person.
- Our accounts manager Ellie was at the end of the phone or an email to help organise a notice in the newspaper, as well as arranging for the invoice to be produced sooner than normal so the family could issue it to the bank.
All in a days work for our incredible team 💚💛
