A great start to the day ,a morning session of drumming with Dominic.We enjoy a visit from Dominic every two weeks and it's always great watching the residents follow along with Dominic.

Our lovely Margret enjoyed her birthday yesterday with an afternoon of German songs a lovely afternoon tea and a concert with Lynda . She loved her balloons and gave us all a few waves . Happy Birthday Margret 🎉💐🎁🍰

Our recent tennis match at Mens Club . Our lovely Dot joined the group today and helped both teams .Nick made everyone laugh with his jokes and impersonations . It's great seeing our men together just having a good time . John was delighted to be crowned Lord of the Manor and everyone enjoyed a selection of drinks . Thanks Nick for making the afternoon so much fun .

Another wonderful visit from IMPS- Invicta Military Vehicle Preservation Society . Residents ,families and friends enjoyed yesterday's visit , seeing all the military vehicles ,chatting with our visitors and tea and cake in the garden . Thank you IMPS for visiting Avon Manor and spending time with our residents .

Our St George's day party . Kit Bradshaw Event Music played a lovely set of English songs that had everyone singing along , a lovely afternoon tea with the best chinaand scones and a balloon competition between St George and the Dragon . Happy day indeed 😊

A very Happy Belated Birthday to Carol Prior .our lovely Carol volunteers every 2nd Tuesday to read Poems to the residents . Carol reads a lot of her own Poems , Pam Ayers and others . Thank you Carol for bringing smiles to residents past and present with all your poems .
