We love a visit from Emily Dance through the Decades . It's not just the dancing we love , it's the stories ,the photos and our little chats afterwards . Perfect way to brighten the afternoon. Thank you Emily

Thank you to everyone who made it such a fun St Patrick's day for our residents today . It's certainly been busy . We kicked off our celebrations with a lovely Irish meal of Irish Sausages ,mashed potatoes and cabbage,followed with a chocolate sponge with a Bailey's sauce . Sarah Sussex Violinist visited us playing Irish music for us throughout lunch . We loved having our favourite violinist back at the Manor . After lunch, a visit from Kit Bradshaw Event Music who played Irish and Country hits with lots of singing and dancing . A Leprechaun named Nick appeared to host our Irish themed Mens Club . Nick Nicholas Pen*ston-Bird definitely played the part and had everyone laughing as he became a real Leprechaun . We've embraced everything Irish today , and finished our day with Guinness , Bailey's and a lovely supper of Potato Scones ,bacon and eggs and a beautiful Irish Apple Cake . Happy St Patrick's Day everyone .

Happy Mother's Day at Avon Manor . It was lovely to see our families Saturday and Sunday . We all enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea with Scones ,jam and clotted cream and French fancies ... Delicious . All our ladies received Perfume , a rose , sweets and a chocolate lollipop . A few lovely Mothers day poems from Carol Prior .We also had some gifts for our staff with a raffle and Craig was our winner . Thank you everyone for visiting our residents have been spoiled ❤️

Happy Mother's day to all our lovely families and friends . Today we will celebrate Mother's day but also take time to remember those who are no longer with us ❤️

Our lovely carer Fran is going on Maternity leave . We had a surprise baby shower for Fran on Tuesday . Our lovely Emma Croxford made all the balloon decorations and it was such a beautiful surprise for Fran .We played musical dummies , name the baby and gave Fran lots of presents . We will miss Fran but wish her well with her new baby . Good luck Fran from everyone at Avon Manor .
