Amberley Lodge Care Home

Amberley Lodge Care Home Amberley Lodge Care Home is a nursing home based in Worthing, West Sussex. The home specialises in caring for those with dementia.

The foundation of the home focuses on the individual with dementia by offering a person-centred approach to care. Amberley Lodge is registered with CQC to provide nursing care for elderly people over the age of 65, who have a dementia type illness. Prior to admission to Amberley Lodge, an assessment is carried out to establish if the needs of the resident can be met at the Home. When the resident moves to the home, the assessment will be reviewed and individual care plans drawn up as well as risk assessments. These are reviewed on a monthly basis. We are well recognised by social services and the local continuing health care team, for providing good quality care.

Hello, my name is Venus, I am a Registered Nurse and I have worked for Amberley Lodge since 2005. In the Philippines I was a surgical/medical nurse and completed my Masters in maternity and child nursing. I couldn't see myself doing anything other than caring for people 🥰 When I'm not working I like spending time with my dogs... I have 4 Chows!

Good morning, as its January and a tad gloomy out there I thought I'd cheer you all up! 😁 Over the next few days/weeks I'm going to introduce you to some of our amazing staff.
