We've been extremely busy the last few days with lots of wonderful activities taking place. We celebrated a lovely residents birthday on Mother's day and our chef Sean treated us to some lovely cornish scones for mothers day too 🌼
We have enjoyed some creative flower arranging and were delighted to welcome the carousel theatre back who performed a fantastic show! From london to broadway, laurel and hardy to the lambeth walk and singing in the rain to the wizard of Oz 🎶
We were overjoyed to see Dolly the PAT dog twice in one week with her owner Elaine 🐶
As always been busy keeping active with our regular exercises and ball games. Not forgetting our favourite bingo 🏀

What a wonderful energetic week weve had here, we have been keeping active and smiling with plenty of music and movement 😁
We enjoyed lots of singalong sessions featuring popular songs from the 50s, 60s & 70s. Everyone joining in using instruments, waving pom poms & shaking tambourines 🎹
Its always amazing to see how much music brings everyone together and fills the room with laughter and great memories 🎶
We also had a lovely celebration for St. Davids Day, with more music and fantastic arts and crafts. Residents created beautiful painting of dragons and daffodils, lovely to see everyone's creativity shine! 🌼
Alongside this, our ever popular bingo and rise joined us with there tennis tournament where everyone is a winner 🏆
Finishing off with our popular beach ball games, keeping us all moving! 🏀

The last couple of weeks at sunhill have been full of fun, laughter, music and plenty of smiles as we enjoyed a wonderful mix of activities together 😁
We've been getting active with lots of ball games including balloon tennis, floor basketball and seated sports 🏀
One of out highlights was our valentine's rugby session, playing to love songs, cheered on our teams but celebrated everyone being a winner 🏆
Creativity has been flowing with our baking sessions, practicing on our mini keyboard and piano and creating beautiful valentine's decorations to brighten the lounge 🖌
Valentines celebrations wouldnt be complete without our valentine's bingo too, always a big hit! 🤣
Music has filled the home, firstly by Linda the singer and pianist, giving us some beautiful love songs 🎶 followed by a valentines special with Dj Keith! Complete with a boogie and singalong to all our favourite songs ♥️
Along the way we have shared quieter moments such as playing cards, dominoes, brain games and quizzes too 🃏
It's been a great few weeks and we would like to thank the visitors who have helped to make the entertainment times so special 🥰

Its been a wonderful week of activities here at Sunhill. Alongside our much loved bingo games, we introduced musical bingo for the first time 🎶 It was a big hit!
We have also been challenging ourselves with lots of brain games, creative sessions including cookery, baking biscuits and decorating them 🧁
We did flower arranging and an extensive range of other arts and crafts! 💐
We were also delighted to welcome some dog therapy too 🐕
A fantastic few days of laughter, learning and togetherness ♥️

Since Christmas we've been having a lovely time here at Sunhill with plenty of games especially the boxing championships with Rise seated sports 🥊 We've also played many lively bingo games with lots of prizes and smiles all round 😁 We have taken a slower pace in January focusing on relaxation and wellbeing too with lots of pampering sessions 💅 Alongside this we have enjoyed free painting, brain games, cake decorating, puzzles and many other creative activities 🖌 One of our highlights was a wonderful singalong with Linda our talented pianist and clarinet player 🎹 All in all a joyful start to the new year 🥰

We've had a truly lovely christmas time here at Sunhill. The last few days have been filled with laughter, fun and festive cheer 🎅
A big highlight was the wonderful Cinderella pantomime, absolutely fantastic and enjoyed by everyone! 🎄
We've also played lots of games for prizes from giant snakes and ladders to a special christmas bingo with a few sports and exercises too! 🏈
Christmas celebrations wouldnt be complete without music and we had lots of karaoke singing with christmas songs and carols 🎶
As well as the joy of giving out christmas presents, everyone enjoyed a delicious christmas meal and overall its been a happy, relaxed and memorable time for residents, staff and visitors alike 😁

We've had a lovely few festive days at Sunhill with music, laughter and christmas cheer! 🎄

We were delighted to welcome All Saints church from Findon Valley who came to play the guitar and sing some traditional christmas carols 🎶 They also brought a lovely homemade Nativity scene to pass around and residents had the choice to request their favourite songs to sing along too as well! It was a truly lovely afternoon, enjoyed by all ♥️

We were also treated to a visit from Linda, a singer, pianist and clarinet player but instead of classical we focused on traditional christmas carols 🎹

The fun continued with Rise seated sports, after a gentle warm up we enjoyed lots of games including pass the rugby ball (pass the parcel) and our very own festive game, knock the baubles off the shy 🏈

The biggest laugh was myself and my colleague wearing Christmas hats made of tinsel whilst residents threw woolen snowballs to try and knock our hats off! Definitely a big hit! ☃️

A joyful time building up to christmas and making happy memories together 🤗

It's been a busy couple of days here as well!
We've been adding more decorations around the home, including our Christmas trees 🎄 and enjoyed our first festive entertainment of the season with Angela bringing lots of energy and fun with tambourines, poms poms and bells. Singing all our christmas favourites together 🎶

What a wonderful busy time we've had celebrating birthdays with lots of smiles, cakes and happy moments! 🎂
Our days have been filled with ball games, singing, dancing, fairground style fun, puzzles and plenty of laughter 🤣
We also held our very important Christmas card competition with fantastic entries from residents and even a few reletives too! 🖌
Throughout the last few days theres been lots of colouring and making our own paper chains ready for christmas 🎄
On the exersice side, we've enjoyed Zoe with the cheerleading pom poms and tambourines 🎶 Alongside our regular sessions of exercise getting everyone moving and energised
All in all a lively time! 🎉

Even though the weathers been gloomy, Rise (seated sports) brought the sunshine indoors with their beach ball and volley ball games! Full of laughter, energy & fun 🌞
We have also been busy getting creative, making our own poppy wreaths and painting our own poppies for Rememberance day ♥️
Music filled the air too as Linda played the piano and clarinet, treating us to a wonderful singalong of war time favourites 🎶
Of course we couldn't forget our bingo, a little keyboard fun and another lovely trip to the garden centre for tea, cake and a good old chat! 🌷
And finally a big congratulations to Adnan who is Sunhill's employee of the month! 🏆

It's been a fantastic couple of weeks here at Sunhill with plenty of Halloween inspired fun! Kicking off with seated sports, halloween rugby - a big hit with inflatable pumpkins 🎃
Our residents have enjoyed some lovely trips out on the minibus to the Garden Centre and to see the sea, plenty of coffee and delicious cakes! 🍰
We have been lucky to have some furry company too, our dog therapy bought lots of joy and cuddles 🐕
Arts and Crafts have been in full swing with pumpkin decorating, painting witches and creating some beautiful autumn wreaths.
A great team effort and some lovely works of art! 🎨
Music too has filled the home with our talented pianist and Clarinet player Linda 🎶
As well as us playing our own spooky tunes to get everyone in the Halloween spirit!
We were also treated to a visit from Mr Magic Hat, amazed us with all his magic tricks and illusions 🧙‍♂️
Our chef Dennis whipped up some frightfully delicious halloween treats for our buffet. With the residents making some wonderfully spooky cakes and biscuits 🍪
To end the day on Halloween our residents loved seeing all the trick or treaters with their amazing costumes 👻
