What a day. We played our favorite game Bingo in the morning and then had a shopping spree in the afternoon with JJ'S fashion. We had a great time browsing all the amazing clothes.

Today our ladies and gents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of plant potting and bulb planting 🌱🌷 Everyone got stuck in, had lots of laughs, and yes… got a little messy too! It was lovely to see so many smiles while choosing plants, filling pots with soil, and planting bulbs ready to grow.

After all the fun, we headed into the garden room to water our newly planted pots and admire everyone’s hard work. There was a real sense of pride seeing the finished results.

Gardening activities like this bring so many benefits for our residents – encouraging gentle physical movement, stimulating the senses, supporting wellbeing, and creating opportunities to socialise and share memories about gardens from years gone by. Most importantly, it’s a chance to relax, have fun, and enjoy time together.

Today we enjoyed a relaxing and creative flower arranging session 🌸🌼 Using a bright mix of colourful artificial flowers, everyone had the chance to design their own beautiful displays. The room was filled with smiles, creativity, and plenty of lovely conversation.

With some gentle classical music playing in the background, the activity created a calm and peaceful atmosphere where ladies could unwind and enjoy each other’s company. Flower arranging is a wonderful way to encourage creativity, support fine motor skills, and spark happy memories of gardens and favourite blooms.

Most importantly, it was a great opportunity for a good natter and shared laughter. The finished arrangements looked fantastic and brightened up the room just as much as the activity brightened everyone’s day. 🌷

Sometimes the simplest moments make the biggest difference. 🧩

Today we took some time out to sit, relax, and enjoy a few puzzles with our wonderful ladies. These quiet activities may seem small, but they bring so many benefits.

Puzzles help keep minds active, support memory and concentration, and encourage problem-solving skills. They’re also a great way to reduce stress, create conversation, and enjoy meaningful time together. Most importantly, they give everyone the chance to slow down, connect, and share a few smiles along the way.

Moments like these remind us that wellbeing isn’t always about big events – sometimes it’s about sitting together, taking our time, and enjoying the little things. 💙

Our ladies had a fantastic time at this morning’s game session! 🎉

The lounge was full of laughter and friendly competition as everyone took part in a fun mix of netball and bowling. From impressive shots to plenty of cheering from the sidelines, it was wonderful to see everyone getting involved and supporting one another. 🏐🎳

Activities like these are not only great fun, but they also help keep our residents active, improve coordination, and encourage social connection. Most importantly, they bring smiles, boost mood, and create special moments together.

A big well done to everyone who joined in – we’re already looking forward to the next game morning!
