Here’s what you’ll get and what the course looks like:
📘 What is Level 2 CSK-L2?
It’s a CPCAB-accredited introduction to counselling skills, giving you the knowledge, tools and competence to use counselling techniques ethically and safely.

It’s intended for people at the start of their path: whether you’re curious, want to volunteer, or are considering progression.
No prior training required.
🛠 How the Course Runs (Online Format)
The course is experiential — you’ll learn by doing. You'll work with peers, practice skills live (in sessions), reflect, get feedback, and use personal study time.
Assessment consists of a mix: journal writing, audio/video assignments, personal reflections, and practical skills assessments.
🚀 Why take it (and where it leads)
This qualification gives you credits in the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).
Once completed, you can progress to Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies, and then onto higher practitioner training.
Along the way, you develop listening, empathy, self-awareness — skills usable in everyday relationships, helping roles, or any context where communication matters.
