An enjoyable afternoon of baking with some of our residents at Old School House (Supported Living)

There was lots of mixing, laughter and teamwork with everyone getting involved in making some delicious treats. Activities like this are a great way to bring people together and enjoy time doing something creative

We spent a lovely afternoon visiting Cornwell House to see their newly decorated space, including the lounge and reception area.

One of the residents proudly led the tour and even showed us exactly where she had been sitting the evening before while watching the sun go down.

At The Beehive we are passionate about making sure the voices of the people who use our services are heard, so it was wonderful to see how much input the residents had in creating a space for themselves to enjoy.

And of course… there had to be cake! 🧡

🧡 West Sussex Dementia Network – Steering Group Meeting 🧡

We’re proud to share that the first West Sussex Dementia Network steering group meeting took place at the Sussex County FA Football Ground in Lancing, kindly funded by Worthing Heat Network

A steering group of 14 people came together to continue the work started by Beehive Care at the Dementia Network launch in January.

The group is made up of people with lived experience of dementia, volunteers and professionals — all united by a shared passion to make a positive difference and drive meaningful change
