Another beautiful example of the healing process following a cauterisation treatment at KOL Skin 🤍

This is just a few days post-treatment, and as you can see:
✔️ The carbon crust (scab) is intact
✔️ Mild redness is present, completely normal
✔️ Healing is progressing exactly as expected

At this stage, the body is doing the work, forming new, healthy skin beneath the surface.

What’s important now:
– No picking or touching
– Keep the area clean and dry
– Avoid shaving over the area
– Allow the scab to fall away naturally

Once the scab lifts, you may see pink, fresh skin underneath, this will continue to settle and blend over the coming weeks.

Results are not just about the treatment, aftercare and patience are key to achieving the best outcome.

• Changes in size, shape, or colour of a mole
• Irregular borders or uneven colour
• Itching, bleeding, or crusting
• New or unusual growths

⚠️ If in doubt, always get it checked by your GP or dermatologist before considering any cosmetic removal.
