Whilst watching Dr John Campbells excellent YouTube channel I was reminded of the blatant lie,that Matt Hancock told in Parliament in the early days of the pandemic, about vitamin D. I remember it happening but had forgotten all about it.

Hancock said the government had initiated a trial on this vitamin and it had shown no positive results. It was explained at the time as a “slip of the tongue”. How does one make up a story and then say it was a “slip of the tongue”?

We know now that this disinformation coming from our very own health secretary is 100% wrong... it’s now fully accepted that vitamin d is vital to immune function.

So how much effect did Hancock have, with his lie in putting people off taking this vital nutrient? The big joke of course is that our government has set up a group to monitor people who they say spread lies!

Isn’t it marvellous?!…
