We’re looking for a Fabric Operative to join our fantastic team at Goring Hall Hospital!

✒️ Role: Fabric Operative
🏥 Location: Goring Hall Hospital
🕝 Hours: 37.5 per week (Permanent)
💷 Salary: Up to £34,000 per year (DOE)

⚡ What you’ll be doing:
✔️ Deliver planned and reactive maintenance tasks in line with SOPs
✔️ Carry out minor works and fabric repairs to keep our hospital safe and efficient
✔️ Support and supervise Engineering Operatives
✔️ Provide technical support and ensure compliance with all health, safety & environmental standards
✔️ Coordinate work with on-site sub-contractors
✔️ Provide support across cluster sites when required

💥 We’re looking for someone with:
✔️ City & Guilds Part 3, HNC, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
✔️ Experience managing engineering/maintenance services in a hospital or complex facilities environment
✔️ Strong leadership and delegation skills
✔️ Excellent health & safety knowledge (including Legionella and fire protocols)
✔️ A valid CSCS card (or ECS if electrically qualified)
