In a groundbreaking new Peppa Pig storyline we will see George Pig revealed to have moderate hearing loss, and he will begin wearing a hearing aid. I often remind clients, that people of all ages wear hearing aids and can be diagnosed with a hearing loss. It's great to see a children's TV program normalising hearing care and showing Audiology.

Your Hearing Health is linked to overall wellness.

Changes to your hearing don't just happen in old age, so its important to make sure you’re getting hearing tests early on in life. 15% of under 69s will experience noise-induced hearing loss. It is a good idea in your early 20's to start having a baseline hearing check, repeating this every three years. If you have a family history of hearing loss, or you’re over 40, then it’s wise to get tested every 2 years.
