🗣️ Information on Weight-loss medications 🗣️

Medications such as Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) and Ozempic (Semaglutide) are not currently available for weight-loss prescriptions through GP practices, despite recent media coverage. Please do not contact your GP about them. NHS England and the local commissioning board are developing a plan for eligible patients, and we will share updates as soon as guidance is available.

Support and resources regarding healthy lifestyles can be accessed via

NHS advice about healthy living, including eating a balanced diet, healthy weight, exercise, quitting smoking and drinking less alcohol.

 Dedicated to increasing public awareness about the causes and cures of stress. This year’s theme is - a powerful call to action rooted in the principles of unconditional positive regard.  This theme encourages us to approach ourselves and others with kindness, compassion and acceptance no matter the challenges we face.

💩 Bowel Screening 💩
Spring 2025 campaign aims to raise awareness that the bowel screening age is being reduced in the South West from 60 to 50. It will commence mid-March 2025 with a particular focus through to end of April which will be Bowel Cancer Awareness Month.

You’ll automatically be sent an NHS screening kit when you become eligible. If you need assistance with your kit, contact the central hub on 0800 707 6060.
