Instead of striving for a “better” version of yourself, yoga invites appreciation for what’s already present — even if it’s messy or inconsistent.

This beginner friendly practice focusses on ease, steadiness, and breath awareness.

No previous experience is required, in this fully guided class. In a friendly, welcoming environment you will gently build strength and flexibility.

Yoga works, it really works, in the most subtle way. After a few sessions you’ll start to notice more ease and freedom in your movement- you start to feel its benefits.

The lovely people who come regularly to my classes really love the way I teach, they feel supported in their progress.

I see them getting stronger, more flexible, and I love watching their confidence grow week by week.

And almost without fail
 they sleep so well on the days they come to class 😌

I feel genuinely honoured to be supporting them on their yoga journey.

Beginners yoga starting 23 February, 7pm at Turnberries Community Centre.

This six week course is suitable for complete beginners and for those who’ve practiced yoga before 💛 learning at a weekly pace, you will explore the fundamentals of yoga and gently strengthen your body, with the added benefit of feeling calm and relaxed too!

It’s fully guided and easy to follow, so if you’re new to yoga (or coming back after a break) you’ll be gently talked through everything đŸ§˜â€â™€ïž Options are always offered, so you can move in a way that feels right for your body.

If you’ve practiced before, the slower, mindful pace gives you time to build strength, refine alignment, and really reconnect with your breath and body 🌿

Slow yoga builds strength in a different — and surprisingly powerful — way.
By moving more slowly and holding poses with awareness, your muscles have time to truly engage, adapt and support you.

There’s less momentum
 and more presence.
More listening.
More connection between body, breath and mind.

And while the body is getting stronger, the nervous system is also learning how to soften and settle. Strength without strain. Effort without overwhelm.
