On Tuesday 12th May, we will be introducing electronic prescribing at Plas Y Bryn!
We are very much looking forward to this change and believe it will enable our patients to request their prescriptions much easier. They will also be less likely to encounter any problems.
The best way to request prescriptions is still via the NHS Wales app but you can also do this via our website.

Launching our Beyond The Scar protocol has been one of the most emotional and meaningful moments of my career🤍

When I created Skin Aesthetics UK, I always knew I wanted it to stand for more than just aesthetics. I wanted it to be a place that genuinely helps people rebuild confidence during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

That’s why becoming the first clinic in the UK to offer FREE scar revision treatments for cancer patients means so much to me.

Every person who walks through our doors has a story, and being trusted to support someone on their healing journey after cancer is something I will never take lightly. Beyond The Scar was created from the heart, to remind people that they are seen, supported and never defined by their scars.

I’m so proud of my incredible team for believing in this vision and helping me bring it to life every single day. Watching the impact this campaign is already having has been truly overwhelming in the best way.

This is more than skin deep & we are now excited to share our official protocol whereby we encourage lots of clinics to deliver the same scar revision in their clinics✨

We are having a number of patients contacting the surgery due to shortages of ADHD medication.
Unfortunately, the GP’s are unable to change prescriptions.
Please contact your consultant in secondary care who will be able to advise further or make this amendment.

Phone lines are open from 8 so please do let us know if you are having difficulty getting in or wont be able to make your appointment at all.
Please bear with us if we have to cancel your appointment also as we will have clinicians that have difficulty getting in to work.

We are no longer accepting urine samples without a clinician requesting you to bring one in.
If you feel that you have a UTI, please contact the practice by phone or by the online services tab on our website and you will be advised further.

Last months, there were 113 appointments lost due to non attendance.
We would ask that if you book an appointment and no longer need it, or can't attend, that you please let us know so that the appointment can be offered to someone else.
You can call the practice and cancel using our automated service which takes just a couple of minutes.
