MATTHEW DURNELL passed away peacefully on 20th January 2026 at home, aged 59 years. Dearly loved Partner of Alison. Proud Dad of Tomos and Elin. Loving Brother, Uncle and Friend.

Funeral service to be held at Pentrebychan Crematorium, Wrexham on Friday 20th February 2026 at 11.15am. Following the service refreshments will be available at The Ramada Plaza, Wrexham.

Any Donations in memory of Matthew would be gratefully received for The RNLI Criccieth Lifeboat Station and can be given via the offertory box or via https://matthewdurnell.muchloved.com/

MARGARET MARY HAYES (M.M.) passed away peacefully on 15th January 2026 at Home, aged 93 years. Dearly loved Wife of the late Lionel. Loving Sister of Ceri and the late Edward. Dear Sister-in-law of Jim.

Funeral Service to be held at Christ Church, Rossett on Friday 13th February 2026 at 11.30am, followed by interment in the Churchyard.

Last night we got in the Christmas spirit and watched our very own Michael (left) as Dame Sally Trott in Llangollen's Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime! 🎄☃️

Michael is one of our Driver/Bearers (and much more) and an asset to our team. For several years, in his spare time, he has designed and built the amazing sets for many local stage productions and as you can see below, has even got involved in performing too!

A great production from 'To The Stage Productions' and well done to all involved! 💙

A year-long programme of events to celebrate Wrexham's 1876 Year of Wonder and to showcase Wrexham's Arts, Culture, Industry and Commerce - Past Present and Future.
Find out more at the Public Launch, Wrexham Library, 6.00pm on Wednesday 14th January.

The show will bring to life some of those remarkable 1876 milestones, including...
- The launch of the Football Association of Wales and the first Welsh national team
- The opening of the Ruabon Road garden cemetery
- One of the greatest Art Treasures Exhibitions ever to be held in Britain

We recently had the pleasure of sponsoring the programme for 'Garden Village Last Night of the Proms 2025' which was held in St Margaret's Church Hall.

A lovely evening aiming to raise money towards renovating the Church to mark it's 100th anniversary next year!

Though it was a bittersweet evening for us personally saying farewell to Reverend Jonathan Smith, the minister at St Margaret's, Garden Village and St Marks, Caia Park. We wish him a very happy retirement! 💙
