This is the most difficult thing I have done by far!
Unfortunately, after much deliberation, we have decided to cease trading as Familiarisation Videos.
We are so passionate about making the world a more accessible place for everyone, but unfortunately, accessibility is not everybody’s priority. Those who understand the need for Familiarisation Videos are great supporters, but unfortunately, these tend to be third-sector organisations with very little funds to spare.
We have tried raising funds to sustain FV but have been unsuccessful. Karen has poured everything she can into the organisation, hoping things will improve to no avail.
What will this mean for the videos we have already created?
Nothing! All of the videos will still be available on our Familiarisation Videos YouTube channel, the venue's website, and their social media.
However, we will not be creating any new videos.
Karen will continue to offer advice on accessibility if required.
We live in the hope that when the world is ready for Familiarisation Videos, we will be back.
So, hopefully, this isn’t goodbye forever!
